1 - MissGennD, MissGennD, Where have you been?

I've been to London to visit the Queen... NOT!
I'd rather visit the Prince though~
I have been MIA since mid-September due to a lot of things.
Lemme count the reasons why I've been out for almost half a month...
#1-School
Yep! I'm still in Fashion School believe or not. I had to attend to my Haute Couture class and finish some projects. Lemme share some photo's I've got from my favorite class of all time.
This class so far is the most fun and productive class I've got aside from sewing class of course. We were taught how to do these techniques on paper then transfer them to fabric and assemble them by sewing. I love this class so much that sometimes if I've got me an extra time I make sure I experiment with them. Like transferring the slashing to another location, creating a heart pattern, making my portrait collar exaggerated, etc...

Draping by Slashing
I have tons of pictures to post but sadly my classmate always forgets to upload them (or should I say has no plans of uploading them anymore). So I guess I just have to make do with what I have. I've uploaded most of these on some of my old posts. Below are some projects I did for clients and myself...

Bridesmaids Gowns
This was ordered by a friend/client and had a last minute change of color theme. Originally it was agreed to be just plain bright yellowgreen. The lower part is removable so you can either wear it in plain bright yellow green or top it off with the magenta skirt. It has hundreds of flowers each, which I hand cut, formed, and stitched on the gown itself. Took me a good long week to finish these 2 garments. I love my first clients, they did not gave me a hard time on my design. I think I gave them 10 sketches and we worked it from that. Mixing and matching top and bottom parts of the gowns was so much fun.

One of my first projects.
Basic skirt with ruffles.
I'm obsessed with maxi skirts!
I did my fabric shopping about a week ago and I can't wait to make my own cocktail dresses and gowns! I will keep you posted on my projects from time to time. I think this is quite a long entry now and I might be boring you with my school stuff. Thank you so much for reading my blabs and I hope to hear from you too! Comment below while they're free of charge~ LOLS! IMY Tartibelles!
